DEPARTMENTAL OFFICE MANAGER

Position Overview - The Departmental Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of various company departments. Incumbent is responsible for directing and coordinating all departmental activities and duties to ensure administrative efficiency.

Requred hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Pay Rate: DOE

Essential Job Functions:

·         Create and manage department policies and procedures.
·         Lead and manage department personnel. 
·         Prepare reports as needed by managers and supervisors.
·         Ensure accountability.
·         Manage department employee schedules.
·         Prepare and present all staff write ups, accommodations, reviews, and evaluations.
·         Know all pertinent information about departmental functions and processes relating to field operations to ensure efficiency in operations. 
·         Assign duties and tasks to ensure all job responsibilities are fulfilled.
·         Train staff on computer software and all aspects of departmental functions.
·         Assist with any other duties needed by office staff.
 
Requirements:

·         Have generous experience managing a workforce of 10+ personnel.
·         Have strong problem solving and decision making skills.
·         Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
·         Be efficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
·         Have flexibility with personal work schedule as needed.
·         Have strong leadership skills.
·         Can manage stress at high levels.
·         Ability to organize and manage time well.
·         Ability to learn new software.  
 
Education/Other Skills:

·         3+ years direct management experience. 
·         Previous supervisory experience, managing multiple departments. 
·         Previous office experience required. 
·         Strong computer literacy required. 
·         Strong communication skills.
