Position Overview: This position is under the direct supervision of the Site Supervisor and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.
 

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct security duties such as assisting with contractor and guest sign-in and verification. Follow up with colleague, resident and guests request
  Enforce post procedures and policies.
  Protect properties from theft, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
  Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, equipment, damage, presence of unauthorized persons, theft, and any other security related situations.
  Be able to stand for more than 4 hours at any time Monitor safety and security surveillance cameras Performs other duties assigned by Site Supervisor
  
  Requirements
  
  18 years of age.
  Must have active PILB card or is able to obtain a PILB card.
  MUST have a flexible schedule
  Work in weather environments that may sometimes be extremely hot or extremely cold, snowy, or icy.
  Follow established security protocols while using initiative and good judgment.
  Maintain a neat and professional appearance and provide excellent customer service as needed.
  Must be able to operate a handheld radio, cell phone and computer
  Have good written and verbal skills. Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  Must be able to verify all guests, deliveries or contractors authorized to access and enter the property premises through the gatehouse.
  Computer skills necessary, particularly with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Be able to understand multiple search platforms pertaining to residents.

Education/Other Skills

. High School Diploma or GED;
. Or one year of equivalent work experience.
