FLEET MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Position Overview: This position is to assist the fleet manager in the overall maintenance, distribution, and repairs needed in the fleet division.  Also responsible for overall building maintenance as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Check all vehicles and note any issues or new damages.
• Fuel all cars; both on-site and off-site.
• Clean inside and outside of vehicles as needed.
• Review repair list and fix any building or fleet repairs as needed
• Check fluid levels and lights in all vehicles.
• Ensure fleet is compliant with safety standards.
• Inquire with the dispatch department to review any fleet needed for posts.
• Conduct necessary tasks to ensure outside of building is maintained properly.

Requirements

• Must have some automotive maintenance experience/familiarity with automobiles.
• Good driving record.
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs.
• Be able to work in all outside weather conditions.
• Comfortable working independently.

Education/Other Skills

• 1+ years of automobile maintenance experience
• GED, High School Diploma or higher
