Position Overview: At Events Services, we believe that work can be fun! Utilizing our proven track record of providing high quality, well-trained personnel to our clients, we are looking for additional professionals to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The Events Services position provides a wide range of duties that allows a steady and secure environment for events, concerts, conventions, etc.
Pay Rate: $10/hr
Required Hours: Open availability preferred, nights and weekend availability required.
Essential Job Functions:
As the leading private security provider in the Northern Nevada area, the ESI Security Services family has been assisting Northern Nevada and California for the past twenty years. Originally established as Events Services, Inc. by owner Mike Hendi in 1989, the company had only a handful of employees and one company vehicle. Since its inception, Events Services has grown to include over 150 employees, a vast array of services, and a fleet of over 20 company vehicles. ESI Security Services, which started as the patrol division of Events Services, Inc., has become its own company and has taken over all security aspects ranging from onsite security to patrol inspection services. Events Services, Inc. now specializes in services such as ticket taking, ushers, and many other special event services. Our services start from the time you pick up the phone to speak with our professional and friendly office team, to the training of our quality officers that work at your site. We know that our success depends on your success, so we work closely with you to get every detail right! When you need security, we want you to think ESI. - Responsible for checking bags upon arrival.
- Provide ticket taking services.
- Assist people in finding their destination and answer any questions they have.
- Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Responsible for any money handling. Previous experience required.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Have customer service and communication skills.
- Be available nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is a must.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Must be able to interact cordially with all public and staff.
- Have a professional attitude and appearance.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- No education or experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
